Pam O'Berry

A true native of Isle of Wight County, Pam was born and raised here. She started working as a dispatcher while still in high school.  Eventually, she worked in the city jail in Newport News, then went on to become a deputy sheriff for Isle of Wight County for six years.

Pam also volunteered for her community as an EMT for Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad, Franklin Fire & Rescue, and Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad

After her career as a sheriff deputy, Pam went on to have a long career as a truck driver. When she retired from trucking, she came back home to where she started it all when she started working as a dispatcher for Isle of Wight County.  Pam has been working as a dispatcher since 2014.

Pam is dedicated to her helping all of her first responder family find the resources they need to feel supported.  She loves helping others, and will listen without judgement.
