These organizations offer inpatient or outpatient clinical mental health treatment and recovery programs that are specifically designed for first responders.

Shatterproof FHE Health employs evidence-based therapies, innovative medical care, and a comprehensive wellness program to help first responders successfully manage their condition and/or achieve life-long recovery from drugs and alcohol. We take a holistic treatment approach that attends to the physical, neurological, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wellbeing. Our medical and clinical team creates a customized, individualized plan of care to help our first responders.

First Responders First is built on the insight that civilian treatment methods are not sufficient to address the unique needs and experiences of first responders. Our confidential programs are tailored to provide the emotional and psychological care required by men and women on the front lines. With the guidance of `our trained clinicians and, critically, the support of the on-site community of fellow first responders, our program has helped hundreds of our brothers and sisters heal, resulting in the restoration of careers, relationships, and lives.

IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind treatment facility specializing in PTSD for professional fire service members who struggle with trauma, substance use, addiction and other related behavioral health challenges. It is a safe haven for members to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery and share experiences with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.

Harbor of Grace Enhanced Recovery Center treatment program includes counseling for work-related stress and trauma, and alcohol and substance abuse treatment that includes both inpatient and Intensive Outpatient treatment. A thorough initial assessment will result in assignment to the proper Harbor of Grace therapist, who will follow the patient throughout their progress in the program. Our unique staff make-up includes several career and volunteer first responders that know first-hand the many challenges and understand the stress that every firefighter, EMS provider and police officer encounters on a daily basis.


Help For Our Heroes program is specifically designed for military veterans, corrections officers, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other emergency personnel to help them cope with the problems incurred by job stress and chemical dependency. Our program has successfully treated hundreds of these incredible men and women nationwide, helping them get back the life they deserve.

Frontline Foundations is a five-day outpatient program that provides mindfulness and resiliency skills training in a classroom setting. We also provide in-service trainings at police and fire departments. Our team will leverage the natural esprit of a peer-supported environment to assist these dedicated public servants to build coping skills, cultivate a mindset of resiliency, and encourage post-traumatic growth following the impact of service-related traumatic experiences.
