Debbie completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work in 2013 and is fully Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. She has more than 15 years of both clinical and non-clinical experience with people across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric, outpatient specialty clinics, crisis centers, and private practice. Jones is also a 20-year first responder in the Hampton Roads area and holds a certification as First Responder Counselor. Her expertise includes: Mood and Anxiety Disorders; First Responder Trauma; Behavioral and Discipline Challenges; Hospice/Death and Dying; Complicated Grief; Anger and Stress Management; Chronic Mental Illness, including Schizophrenia; Teen Issues; Family and Relationship Issues. Jones employs a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psycho-Education on individuals aged 13 years and up.
